Who we are
Narrio is operated by Philippe Chaudhary, a UK sole trader. For privacy questions or requests, email plchaudhary@icloud.com.
Information we use
We collect your account email, text you paste, the text extracted from PDFs you select, saved document and reading settings, and usage data such as premium voice characters used. PDF extraction happens in your browser; we save the extracted text, not the original PDF file. We use this information to provide your account, save your library, play your documents, manage your allowance and support the service.
Who handles your information
Hosting and the database are provided by Lovable Cloud. Our email provider sends account emails. When you use a premium voice, the text needed for narration is sent to ElevenLabs for processing. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. These providers process information to deliver their respective services.
Cookies
We use only cookies essential to signing in and operating the service. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your choices and rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and data by emailing plchaudhary@icloud.com. We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. UK data protection law may give you additional rights, including the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
